Our mantra for raising puppies is simple: Individual attention, Infinite confidence.
We implement sensory training one-on-one with all of our Bernedoodle and Goldendoodle puppies from the day they are born until they head to their forever family. It's a protocol we developed that is both methodical and time consuming. And it guarantees a confident puppy.
Without confidence developed in the critical first eight weeks of life, a puppy is often saddled with anxiety that is difficult to undo. It's a top complaint among dog owners. And often the underlying cause for many training challenges. It's not good for the puppy and certainly not good for the human.
Because we are a smaller family breeder, we can commit the time to implementing a robust training protocol with each puppy. There's only one other breeder doing what we do (Harrington Doodles near Buffalo NY) and that's because we agreed to train them 15 years ago.! We continue to be great friends and resources to each other.
Perhaps you've already done some research on Bernedoodles and Goldendoodles. But if not, we welcome a conversation to share all the wonderful attributes of these smart companions. The next-to-no shedding is pretty great too.
Many of you have known us for years as the Little L Farm. But like most things, we felt it was time for an update. And despite polling clients, friends and family for a "snazzier" name, everyone unanimously said something along the lines of, "Mary, this has been your life's passion! We vote for a name that is short and simple: Mary's Doodles."
Which was pretty darn special to hear.
